Hi, I want to build my own video streaming site to present my video clips (I'm a videographer). It will be similar to MSN Video or YouTube, where I'll have various of video categories and users can rate and comment. Right now I have hosting with GoDaddy; do I need special hosting to run a video site like this (it was mentioned to me that video streaming software needs to be installed on the server). Thanks in advance for your advice or recommendations.
If you're going to host a lot of videos, you probably need a dedicated server (as opposed to a shared hosting account, where many sites are hosted on a single server).
