Writing a review about a product that I have bought is not something that I have ever done. I speak to my friends and none of them are the type of people who review products either. They much prefer to make a complaint to the company if they are unhappy with a product. If I am going to be paying money for a product then I will expect it to be a good product so I don’t see the point of praising a company for doing their job. I can’t imagine that many people who actually use web hosting would be taking the time to write a review on the service so I am beginning to wonder who does actually write these reviews.
I do know that there are people who do like to write reviews for almost anything; it seems like a hobby to them. However I wouldn’t think that these people would be giving a fair representation of the web host user as they would be in the minority. now I could be wrong but I would think that any web hosting reviews that you come across would not be giving a clear indication of how most people feel about the service they are getting. the reviews that you are reading are probably written by those people who just like to write reviews on anything and everything.
Also remember that the web hosting providers can be guilty of writing reviews about their services themselves. I do not blame the web hosting companies for doing this because if I was in the same position, I would probably be doing it too. I have actually heard that while some web hosts concentrate on writing glowing reviews to promote their own service, others tend to focus on writing negative reviews of their competitors services instead.
This all means that those web hosting reviews we read might be of very limited value or maybe that is just me being a bit cynical.
When you decide to go into internet marketing, you should make sure that you have hosting set up beforehand. Newbie’s can find, though, that the web hosting world can be rather confusing. an example of this could be coming across free web hosting or even dedicated servers on your travels.
